Guide to Affinity. Raid: Shadow Legends

Affinity
spacer

Each champion within the game Raid: Shadow Legends is assigned an affinity.

  • Magic (Blue)
  • Force (Red)
  • Void (Purple)
  • Spirit (Green)

Each affinity has both a strong and weak pairing. Except for a void champion. Void is neutral to all.

Strengths and weaknesses:

Magic affinity is strong against Spirit affinity, however weak against Force affinity. Magic champions will do more damage against spirit affinity champions and less damage against force affinity champions.

Spirit affinity is strong against force affinity, however weak against Magic affinity. Spirit champions will do more damage against force affinity champions, but less damage against Magic affinity champions.

Force affinity is strong against Magic affinity, however weak against Spirit affinity. Force affinity champions will do more damage against Magic affinity champions but less damage against Spirit affinity champions.

Void affinity is considered the most sought after and has some of the best champions available within Raid: Shadow Legends. Void affinity is neutral to all affinities, meaning it is neither strong nor weak against the other affinities, Magic, Spirit, Force.

What are the advantages of using an affinity deemed “Strong” against the next?

  • +15% C.RATE
  • +30% Strong Hit Chance
  • +30% Damage when a strong hit occurs.

What are the disadvantages of using an affinity deemed “Weak” against the next?

  • -20% Damage
  • +35% Weak hit chance
  • A chance of a Skill landing as a Critical Hit is reduced by 15%
  • When a weak hit occurs -30% Damage, debuffs cannot be applied

What happens in terms of advantages or disadvantages when using a neutral affinity (Void Affinity, Or same affinity as the champion being used. I.E Magic against Magic)?

  • There are no disadvantages or advantages occurring. No “Buffs” and or “Debuffs” take place, unlike a “Strong” or “Weak” Affinity.

Thank you for explaining some of those buffs and debuffs some of them are pretty much common sense to me that’s what they are but I did not know that about Frost that is going to help me out significantly now knowing that I’ve been trying to use the frost on a champion to be compatible with the I forget his name but the new Christmas champion the legendary avoid champion and it has been working out now I know why
    you’re the man

I heard that there is no c. rate penalty when using an affinity deemed “Weak” against the next. Can you confirm that there is indeed -15% c. rate? If so, in that case does 115% c. rate still guarantee a crit?

Or it might have to be 118% if it is 15% of your crit rate, but I am just guessing.

I was told that you can only summon a legendary void champ. ( e.g. Arbiter) with a void shard since she is a void champ. Does a yellow Sacrid shard also give u a chance to summon void champs? (or do u have to use void shards to give yourself a chance to summon void legendary champs )? Ty

Void champions can only be acquired from void shards

In the 2-year anniversary video, the clan boss is shown with gold skin.
Watch them introduce a 5th affinity, to be strong vs. Void.
I’ve played other games where red-blue-green are rocks-paper-scissors against each other, but purple and gold are inverse strength with each other.
It’s coming. It will wreck maneater clan boss teams.
    Wait for it.

I don’t think they are going to, but it would be cool if they did!

How does weak affinity affect landing debuffs?
