Hotatsu joins the Shadowkin faction in patch 4.20. Hotatsu does bring a Strong Defense Aura and has a useful mechanic to cleanse debuffs on himself.

We are still waiting details on the Shadowkin Faction Wars but outside of this, I fear Hotatsu is out performed by many other champs (Iron Brago comes to mind!).  I personally would not use Hotatsu based on his current kit.

Removes 1 random debuff from this Champion at the start of each turn. Will remove [Stun], [Sleep], [Freeze], [Fear], [True Fear], [Petrification] and [Provoke] debuffs before other debuffs.

Increases Ally DEF in all Battles by 25%
