What’s coming in Incarnate?

Hellhades held an interview live on Twitch with Sham from SkeletonHand, developers of Incarnate – Incarnate will be launched to Paid members of Hellhades.com as of Tuesday 6th July, and all members soon after.

This isn’t a finished version of the game, members of the site are getting the opportunity to play an early release version, to help develop it further as it grows before the full release.

The main topic of discussion during the stream was what’s in store for players when they dive into the game when it’s available to us.

Many of you may have heard about the NFT’s available in the game and the whole ‘Play to Earn’ idea, this will not be available instantly, but you can read more about it here.

In the game, there are 5 different classes, and each of those classes is broken down into generic rarities, you can mix and match these parts on characters to create your own, unique class. As an example for those of you who are Raid players, imagine taking abilities from different champions, like Arbiter’s A1 – Kymars A3, and Dracomorph’s A2 – the possibilities are truly endless, there are so many possibilities for you to play around with to really help you complete any content the game might throw at you!

During the stream, Sham showcased one of the Boss fights available to everybody in the game, Valgoth. Combat in this game is based on a 3D battlefield, where you can manipulate your surroundings while fighting to your advantage, height will have an impact on your damage, and because of this – strategy becomes key, you need to adapt to your surroundings to conquer your enemies.

There are prizes for the first people who defeat the first boss, on different difficulties, there will also be rewards for members taking part in this early release and providing feedback to SkeletonHand – what those rewards will be are not set in stone yet, but there will be something.

Upcoming Features:

Real-Time PVP is coming to Incarnate, not yet – but it’s coming. It will be out in a future release and this is a HUGE addition, Real-time, Live PVP is a huge win for this game genre.

Strongholds will be added to the game in a future update, This is effectively your defensive battleground for your team and you will be able to fully customize this to suit your team, gaining you a defensive advantage.

Marketplace – usually with gacha style games, the idea of trading is a big no-no – they HATE trading mechanics, as the idea behind it is to keep you interested in collecting champions. SkeletonHand has an idea, by making the game Play-To-Earn, there is a chance of drops throughout the game for key fragments or creator seals, these can also be earned from tournaments and events in-game.

Creator seals are used to lock in your champion builds, with additional modifiers. Once your champion has been minted (used a creator seal) it becomes an NFT – NFT’s are all the hype right now, they are effectively a crypto-currency – you will be able to put these minted incarnates on a market place, these can be swapped for other things, or actual money.

As part of the pre-release, SkeletonHand are going to be releasing a few builds on the marketplace for those who want a kick start, these will be some of the best possible champions available in the game at this point – this won’t mean you can overpower everything, it will just be a head start.

Once you purchase something from the marketplace – you OWN it, it is yours!

Get involved, come give Incarnate a try – and see how you fare against the first available boss fight. Let us know in the comments if you plan on joining in on the fun!

Stay tuned for future updates, we will keep you in the loop as more announcements are made!

Sorry but the rollout was horrible. I couldn’t get in as a paid member and just said forget about it. I wonder if I am the only one with this experience.
